Poly Chlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)

Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) are highly toxic industrial compounds and are known to cause several adverse health reactions in unborn, newborn, children and adults. These may be widely present in environment and water. Primarily these are associated with neurological or developmental problems and which may arise from prolonged or repeated exposure to even small amount of PCBs and are also known to cause many types of cancers.

It is therefore essential to test water and beverages for presence of PCBs to determine their level of concentration and estimate potential health hazards. At VIMTA, we offer a comprehensive range of testing for identification and quantification of a large number of PCBs in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
