Fan Testing
Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency(BEE) announced voluntary certification for ISI mark and Energy Star labeling respectively, for fans of all sizes. Such testing shall be carried out by NABL & BIS Accredited labs. Based on accredited test reports, certificate shall be issued by BIS & BEE. Currently BEE is under voluntary scheme for ceiling fans which will become mandatory with effective from 1st Jan 2022.
- Safety testing as per IS 302-2-80/IEC 60335-2-80
- Ceiling fan test as per IS 374:2019
- Table and wall mount fan test as per IS 555: 1979
- Pedestal fan test as per IS 1169: 1967
