As Chief Scientific Officer, Muralee Krishna provides senior scientific leadership to the Pharma Analytical Services divisions at VIMTA.

He has an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and 31 years of rich experience in all aspects of Analytical R&D and troubleshooting. His specialties include in-vitro bio studies, in-vitro equilibrium, kinetic and bridging studies, IVRT methods for topical products, reverse engineering studies for estimation of excipient concentration in RLD, extraneous peak investigations in chromatography and evaluation and development of highly sensitive methods for determination of nitrosamine impurities in all drug substances and finished products.

Muralee Krishna’s last assignment was with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, as Senior Vice President, Analytical Research (Formulations). His other previous assignments were with Aurobindo Pharma, Ranbaxy Research Labs, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd., and South India Research Institute
